Everyone month I also play in another swap. It is a swap where u send out 5 cards directly to 5 people & receive 5 cards in return from different people. Here are 3 of the cards that I have received for January so far.
My mom designed this card & I think it is just darling. She is using it for a bunch of her male birthday cards this year. My mom & have a goal to get all our birthday cards ready for the entire year. Especially the male cards. Female cards are easier to come up with. I got this set right after it came out a couple years ago & have never used it till now. I think my mom did a great job!!
I am in a birthday club swap group that you send a card to each players birthday on theirs, then in return they all send you a card on your birthday! I was in the swap last year & rejoined this year. It's a lot of fun to get 25 cards around your birthday! This is the card I made for the Jan birthdays. What do you think of the card? I really liked it a lot.
I made this card for a punch card swap that runs for 12 months. Each month there are different categories to choose from. This month I choose the St. Patrick's Day option. You will have to check back each month to see what category & punch card I create.
I saw this card on Gretchen Baron's blog & just loved it! I had to case it for class this month. My mom & I always debate over buying this set, so I finally did! This set is so versatile & can be used anytime of the year. I just love the hearts to add a cute touch for valentines day. Plus I love the Glimmer paper to boot!!

Where has cheekie been this time you ask? Things got incredibly busy for me after halloween. Time flew by until Thanksgiving when my son came home for a week. Then 1 week later I left for Disney world with my son & his fiance'. I will include a couple pictures at the end. We had a blast.
Once I returned home, it was almost christmas & I started having stamp camps at my house! I am so excited to have a group of ladies that want to attend class at my house. We moved a year ago & I had been having my classes at my up-line's house in the city still, but attendance had dwindled to mostly the ladies from my new area anyway.
So here I am after the new year with a resolution to keep my blog updated this year at least once a week, but hopefully more often. I also resolve to start videos at some point this year.
I would love to hear about your New Years resolution as well. Happy New Year & I'll see you soon!!
