I made this card for my cousin for his birthday. Manly cards are so hard to come up with. This set called "Packed for Dad" was just perfect for Ashley's birthday. The new set is in the Occasions mini Catalog. There are several stamps like this for different occasions. There is also "Packed for Mom", "Packed for baby", & "Packed for Birthday". The card base is Not quite Navy that matches the Well Worn DSP. This DSP is perfect for Male cards!

I hope you enjoyed!

Gift from a friend.....

When I was in the hospital my good friend brought this card to me with balloons. She will never know how much this card brightened my day. I have saved this card out of my desk since then to remind me of spring flowers to come. Thank you for brightening my day Holly!!

My First Scrapbook page!!

I am working on a scrapbook with one of my good friends & I made this page all by myself!! I was so proud!! It is the first scrapbook page that I have ever created!! I just took a plain sheet of Very Vanilla Card Stock & stamped Happy Birthday from the Swirls & Curls Verses stamp set all over the page in Real Red, Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade, & Brilliant Blue. I layered the photos in the same colors. I was so happy in ow it turned out.

Here little bunny.....

Here is a card that we are making in class this month. Isn't it darling? With this card I used punches to make the bunny. The Soft Suede hole & Bunny behind is made with the 13/4" circle punch. The Cute little tail is punched from the Boho Blossom punch. His little feet was punched with the retired small oval & the current large oval punch. The card base is Regal Rose. Pool party splashes in as the first layer & SAB paper is being used as the 2nd layer. The bottom stripes DSP is from the Brights paper pack & is the Regal Rose paper.

I hope you enjoyed!!! Hope to see you at class!!

Butterfly butterfly.....

I made this card for my Aunt Kim for her birthday this year & for a one on one swap!

The card base is Real Red & I used the Real Red Polka Dot DSP from the Brights Pattern Paper Pack. The next 2 layers are from the Top Note Big Shot die. I cute one top note out of Real Red & one out of Whisper White. I trimmed the Whisper White Top Note around the perforated edges & layered on the Real Red one. I then stamped the saying with the Word Play set.

The butterfly is cute with the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot Die. The bottom butterfly is cut out of the Red Glimmer paper. It is sure to make any card shine!! The top butterfly is just Real Red card stock.

I used rhinestones to set off the card on both the butterfly & the Whisper White Top Note!!

I hope you enjoy!

Daisy Flower

I made this card some time ago & never got the chance to post it. I cased this card from etsy. When I saw it I fell in love with it & knew I had to make it!

The card base is Early Espresso with crumb cake embossed with the houndstooth embossing folder. The center flowers are made from the daisy #2 die with Riding Hood Red. I used old Olive 1/4" grograin for the leaves.

I hope you enjoy!!

Once again my disappearance.....

Sorry to have disappeared from blog site again, but I have been suffering from health problems. Long story short, I ended up in St. Mary's hospital in Enid, OK for a week with abdominal pain & pneumonia.

I am home now & have been recovering for a few days. I am getting better each day that passes, but for now am on home oxygen & breathing treatments.

Thanks to all that called, visited, & send cards while I was ill & recovering.

Special thanks goes out to my husband & my mom for everything they have done for me. I couldn't have done it without either of them!

I made this card to send to all my new customers that came to stamp class in December. Isn't he the cutest ever? I just love this little guy from the Snow Much Fun set that was new to 2011. I used Crumb Cake & Cherry Cobbler to color him, with a Cherry Cobbler card base. It is hard to see, but I used the new Dazzling Details in the center of the snowflakes & his snow buttons.

I hope you enjoy!!
